Activity Schedule

There will be all sorts of activities to enjoy during your downtime in the “Tent to Trail Hangout”, including yoga, beer, a bonfire, and live music. Pocahontas State Park also offers fishing, mountain biking, and more – just remember to bring the necessary equipment! We will update our schedule with activities as they become available.  These activities are included with your event registration unless otherwise noted.

Friday, April 17
2-6 p.m. Kayaks & canoes made available on a first come/first served basis
3-3:45 p.m. All Levels Yoga Class – Bring your own mat
4-8 p.m. Food vendor open for dinner service
4-10 p.m. Sierra Nevada Beer Garden open
5-5:45 p.m. All Levels Yoga Class – Bring your own mat
7-10 p.m. Bonfire and s’mores (as long as supplies last)
7:30-9 p.m. Live Music from The Hot Seats

 

Saturday, April 18
7-10 a.m. Pancake Breakfast**
8-8:45 a.m. All Levels Yoga Class – Bring your own mat
8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Complimentary massages provided by ECPI’s Massage Therapy Program
10-10:45 a.m. All Levels Yoga Class – Bring your own mat
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Kayaks & canoes made available on a first come/first served basis

Activity Descriptions

Join in a 45-minute all-level yoga classes, along with your team members, to help ease tired or sore muscles, cool down from (or warm up for) your run, enjoy the outdoor scenery, connect to your breath, center your mind, and feel great! Classes are led by Dana Walters and J Miles, co-founders of Project Yoga Richmond. The sessions offered are “BYOM” (Bring Your Own Mat). Water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a towel are also recommended. Classes are included as part of your event registration and will be held at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, April 17th, and 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18th.

**Pancake Breakfast

This great way for participants to re-fuel on Saturday morning is now officially being offered by area Boy Scout Troop 2806 and the Brandermill Rotary Club. The breakfast is included with your entry, but any donations on site will go directly to the organizations and would be much appreciated.
