Now Virtual to help you prepare for the rescheduled 10k on Sept. 25-27

This fall we’re kicking off the Virtual 10k Training Team! If you were signed up for the YMCA 10k Training Team you’re automatically a part of our virtual community, but if you’re new and just want a way to train for event weekend – you can sign up too! We will offer new participants the same shirt YMCA 10k Training Team participants received in the spring, and Coach Suzen will lead our crew through emails and a virtual training schedule! This program starts on July 18, so you’ll have the full 10-weeks to prep for the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k on event weekend! Let’s support each other and get ready to run RVA!

Here’s what you receive as a member for the Virtual 10k Training Team:

  • Ten-week training guide (in PDF format) that starts on July 18 with a detailed written schedule
  • Weekly email guidance from the program’s head coach
  • A special YMCA 10k Training Team shirt (for new registrants – anyone who was part of the 10k Training Team earlier this winter already received their shirt)
