Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k, Richmond Raceway partner for Ultimate RVA Race Day sweepstakes

RICHMOND, VA – Richmond Raceway (Richmond) announces a partnership with Sports Backers and the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger to bring fans the Ultimate RVA Race Day sweepstakes. The TOYOTA OWNERS 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race and Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger are both on Saturday, April 13. From the morning 10k road race to watching NASCAR’s best compete “under the lights,” fans of both kinds of racing will have the opportunity to experience a race day like no other in Richmond, Va.

“The Toyota Spring Race Weekend and Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger brings out residents and tourists to the Richmond region,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “With our races being on the same day, this Ultimate RVA Race Day sweepstakes will encourage even more people to enjoy the best of racing in RVA on Saturday, April 13.”

Richmond and Sports Backers have partnered for the Ultimate RVA Race Day sweepstakes to bring NASCAR fans and running enthusiasts together. From January 23 through March 15, fans can enter to win by visiting richmondraceway.com/rvaraceday. The winning package includes race day experiences and items for both RVA race events.

Richmond Raceway will provide:

The Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger is celebrating its 20th running this year. As the fourth-largest 10k road race in the United States, the event recently received national recognition in Runner’s World magazine’s list of 70 American Road Races Every Runner Should Finish as well as BibRave’s list of the Top 10k Events in the Country.

The Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger is organized by Sports Backers, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and creating active living opportunities for residents and visitors alike. The TOYOTA OWNERS 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race concludes the Toyota Spring Race Weekend at Richmond on April 12-13. The return of NASCAR’s best to Richmond will mark the spring debut of the DC Solar FanGrounds, which brings fans closer than ever to their favorite sport. New attractions in the modernized infield include fan-viewing walkways in the Monster Energy Series garages, the Markel Entertainment Plaza, M&M’s Neighborhood, Virginia Tourism Visitor Center, Eternal Fan Pedestrian Tunnel and Fan Memories program, and Gatorade Victory Lane, which provides fans the opportunity to be a part of the post-race celebrations. Richmond Raceway 2019 NASCAR Season

The 2019 NASCAR season at Richmond returns “under the lights” for both race weekends hosting the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) at America’s Premier Short Track.

The Toyota Spring Race Weekend will bring NASCAR’s best to Richmond for the ToyotaCare 250 NXS Dash4Cash race and TOYOTA OWNERS 400 Monster Energy Series race on April 12-13.

Richmond’s Fall Playoff Race Weekend will start the NXS Playoffs with the Go Bowling 250 playoff race and host the second race of the Monster Energy Series Playoffs with the Federated Auto Parts 400 playoff race on Sept. 20-21.

Tickets for the Toyota Spring Race Weekend on April 12-13 and Fall Playoff Race Weekend on Sept. 20-21 are available for purchase in-person at the Richmond Ticket Office, via phone at 866-455-7223, or online at richmondraceway.com.

The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) will run the inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic on Saturday, March 30 at Richmond.
