Costume Contest

Give your Halloween costume a test “run,” and wear it during the Harvest Hustle!

Bragging rights aren’t the only reward, we’ll have plenty of goodies on hand for the winners. Ghouls, ghosts, goblins, mummies, superheroes, and princesses—now is your time to shine!

In order to enter the costume contest, check in at the Sports Backers tent on-site between 9 AM and 10:30 AM and be dressed to impress! Awards will be given out on site, so check back after you run to see if you are one of our winners.  You must be a registered participant to enter the contest.

Best Group/Duo
Get a group together and plot a fall-themed costume of legend! There’s strength in numbers, and multiple costumes could definitely give you a better shot at being noticed.

Most Original
Ready to create your own fall super hero? Looking to take homemade to a new level? The title of Most Original will go to the person who looks outside the normal confines of the Halloween box. Creative types, this is all you!

Most Richmond
Richmond is a town with lots of unofficial mascots, beloved locations, and local lore. Find something uniquely RVA that makes a great outfit and you could take home the prize!
