David Belde, Ph.D.
Bon Secours Richmond Health System
David Belde currently serves as senior vice president of mission services for Bon Secours Richmond Health System. Prior to this role, he served as the vice president of mission integration and ethics for Seton Healthcare Family, the vice president of mission and ethics for the Bon Secours Virginia Health System and the director of ethics for Saint Joseph’s Health System, in Atlanta, Georgia.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in theological ethics from Boston College and a doctorate of philosophy in bioethics from Saint Louis University.
David is married to Amelia Lyon Belde. They have identical twin girls, Lily and Sophie. David has participated in several Sports Backers events, including the 10k, half-marathon, and the Maymont 8- Miler. A three sport athlete in high school and college, he is interested in advancing community health through building an active community and enhancing the build environment.
