RVA Bike Month 2025

The 12th Annual RVA Bike Month is here!
That’s right, it’s time to pump the jams and get your ride ready for a month of exciting opportunities to explore all the Richmond region has to offer by bike.
This May, use your bike to connect with your community and put on a public demonstration of your support for better biking infrastructure. Thanks to several dozen grassroots volunteers, RVA Bike Month is one of the biggest and baddest in the entire country celebrating National Bike Month. Be a part of something authentic and special, and remember that just showing up plays a part in building the case for planning, funding, designing, and building #morebikelanes and the Fall Line.
1) Get ready! Get your bike tuned up and make sure to read the safety disclaimer at the bottom of the page. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
2) Lend a Hand: Sign up for Bike Month’s Volunteer Opportunities and be part of the magic.
3) Check each event’s details and information at www.rvabikemonth.com. Updates and rescheduling will also be posted here.
4) Take fun pics and tag #rvabikemonth.
5) Bike to Work! Bike to Work Day is May 15th!
6) Explore, patronize, and @ local businesses! Show them some love and thank them for supporting your ride.
7) Try something new! Seek out a new bike lane. Find some new riding friends. Explore an unfamiliar part of the region.
8) Tag @bikewalkrva on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
