Fitness Warriors Partner with Virginia State University to Bring Free Classes to the Community

We are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership between Fitness Warriors and Virginia State University, bringing free, high-energy fitness classes to the university and the surrounding community. These offerings are part of our ongoing commitment to improving health outcomes in the City of Petersburg and its neighboring areas.

Why It Matters: Addressing Health in Petersburg

Petersburg, Virginia, ranks 133 out of 133 localities in the state for health outcomes. This sobering statistic is a stark reminder of the health challenges facing our community, from chronic diseases to limited access to fitness and wellness resources. However, we are determined to make a difference.

With the generous support of the Cameron Foundation and access to spaces like The Petersburg Library and Virginia State University, we’re striving to transform the health of this community, one workout at a time.
