If you see Nan, say cheese. Not because she’s snapping a photo (though as PR & Communications Manager she definitely could), but because it’s her favorite food group and frequent conversation topic. With a sharp eye for a great story and a talent for turning creative ideas into reality, she helps bring the Sports Backers mission to life in fun and meaningful ways.
Her favorite way to stay active? A good sweat at Orangetheory and long walks with her dog, Millie—ideally while listening to Giggly Squad or a can’t-put-down audiobook. Her favorite place to be outside in Richmond is definitely the Fan. She loves the hustle and bustle of Richmonders and admiring all the beautiful architecture.
On the weekends, you’ll find her squeezing in a morning workout, grabbing breakfast with friends, hitting up a local festival or fun happening, sitting on the patio at Final Gravity, or indulging in some poolside reading.

Favorite Sports Backers Event? “Dominion Energy Riverrock is always a good time. You can’t beat being down by the river and there’s so much to see. It’s amazing to see Richmonders realize what an awesome outdoor landscape we have in our own backyard.”
Favorite non-Sports Backers Event? “I’m a big Greek Festival fan. If there’s feta cheese I’m in.”
