RVA Bike/Ped Counts – September 2017

Bike Walk RVA collects data twice a year (May and September) on the number of people biking and walking in Richmond in order to help demonstrate the effects of protected bike infrastructure. But we need your help! In order to ensure a robust set of count data, we assign volunteers to dozens locations across the city to manually count the number of people biking and walking through that area. Because of all the new bike lanes planned, we’ve added 10 more locations this year, for a total of 30 locations! You can see why we need your help!

This year, counts will take place on:

Tuesday, September 12, 5 to 7 PM
Wednesday, September 13, 5 to 7 PM
Thursday, September 14, 5 to 7 PM

Use the form below to sign up for a shift. All locations are highlighted in the map below. We will do our best to place you at your preferred location, or at least a location nearby.

Please contact Cassi PattersonĀ at [email protected] with any questions.
