Q: How does the Warm Up Fitness Challenge work?

The Warm Up Fitness Challenge is a challenge where teams of up to 8 will join together virtually to log as many active minutes as you can over the course of 1 month. Together you will keep yourselves accountable to be active so that as you log minutes and hit milestones, you and your team will travel to a variety of tropical destinations. As you travel you will have the opportunity to earn individual and team virtual badges that will enhance your tropical experience and keep you motivated.

Q: What is the goal amount of active minutes for my team?

  • If you are a team of up to 8 your team is challenged to achieve 5,000 active minutes for the month of January.
  • If you are doing the challenge solo, you are challenged to achieve 700 active minutes for the month of January.

If you achieve the challenge goal before the end of the month, don’t stop logging, see how many active minutes you and your team can achieve for the month!

Q: How much does the event cost and what do I receive?

There are two pricing options, one with SWAG and one without.

$40/person fee includes:

  • Beach Towel
  • Bottle Opener
  • Activity tracking including an individual and team progress bar and leaderboard
  • Opportunity to earn individual and team virtual badges
  • Virtual travel experience including destination fun facts and places to visit, cocktail and happy hour snack recipes, and stunning imagery of the warm, often sandy, locations you are traveling.
  • Curated workouts and themed playlists

$25/person fee includes:

  • Activity tracking including an individual and team progress bar and leaderboard
  • Opportunity to earn individual and team virtual badges
  • Virtual travel experience including destination fun facts and places to visit, cocktail and happy hour snack recipes, and stunning imagery of the warm, often sandy, locations you are traveling.
  • Curated workouts and themed playlists

Q: What kind of active minutes can be logged?

An active minute is an intentional effort to exercise, either moderately or vigorously. This can include activities such as running, walking, hiking, cycling, yoga, a fitness class/workout, walking the dog, lifting weights, rollerblading, jumping rope, dance, swimming, kickboxing, etc.

Q: Can I log more than one activity per day?

Yes, you can log as many active minutes with as many activities as you can per day.

Q: How do I log over an hour of active minutes?

Input your time in only minutes when adding to the activity tracker. Ex: A workout that lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes should be entered as 75 minutes.

 Q: Will there be awards?

Yes, awards will be given to the team that reaches the active minutes goal the fastest as well as to the team that logs the most minutes in a month in each of the divisions, which includes the 8-person team and solo divisions.

Q: How long does the fitness challenge last?

Wave 1 of the fitness challenge kicks-off January 1st and runs through the end of the month. You will be able to register until January 8th but your month active minute goals are all the same. Wave 2 kicks-off on February 1st and runs through the end of the month. You will be able to register until February 8th.

Q: When do I receive my items?

We will begin mailing in mid-January for Wave 1 and mid-February for Wave 2.

Q: How do I track and report my active minutes?

You can use any watch whether it be a fitness based watch or not to track your active minutes.
