We were thrilled to host the 5th installment of the RVA Bike Awards on September 25, and to honor the contributions of the RVA bike scene’s best and brightest. Basic City Brewing graciously hosted us in their event space for fellowship, brews, wood-fired pizza, and an awards presentation. It was a feel-good night of community triumph as 50ish attendees toasted our share 2025 achievements to a soundtrack of 2010s alternative rock jams.

Though the RVA Bike Awards have taken place a few years in the past to great fanfare, we stepped it up a notch for 2025, commissioning local sculptor and Bike Monday Bros organizer Keith Ramsey to construct found-object, steampunk trophies for our awardees. Each one-of-a-kind trophy represents the unique elements that these awardees bring to the bike community, and the movement to make our streets safer for all users.
