Will leads the charge at Sports Backers, keeping the team inspired and the community moving. As Executive Director, he motivates staff, builds partnerships across Richmond, and champions programs that get people active, connected, and enjoying all the region has to offer. From local fitness initiatives to large-scale events, Will is dedicated to creating opportunities that make healthy living fun and accessible for everyone.
Will stays active through running, swimming, cycling, and keeping up with his boys. He loves spending time outdoors on golf courses, wandering local parks, or soaking up the views along the James River. On his days off, you’ll most likely find him swinging a club, enjoying time with family, cheering for JMU Dukes football, or exploring the best Richmond has to offer. Will also serves on the boards of Fit4Kids, SwimRVA, and Richmond Region Tourism, helping support active communities throughout the region.
