Anne Waleski
Independent Director, Retired Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Markel Corporation
Anne currently serves as an Independent Director for Liberty Mutual Holding Company, Inc. and Enact Global Holdings, Inc. Anne previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Markel Corporation, a global holding company for insurance, reinsurance, and investment operations around the world. She retired in 2019 after 26 years with Markel.
Anne served on the board of directors of Tredegar Corporation from 2018 to August 2023 and ProSight Global, Inc. from June 2020 to August 2021.
Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from The College of William & Mary and has an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond.
Anne is a firm believer in the benefits of active living personally and for her community. She has been involved with a variety of Sports Backers events as a participant and volunteer. Her favorite Sports Backers event is Dominion Energy Riverrock. Anne has a goal to run an event in every state.
