Warriors Materials

Recruits, Warriors and Captains will need a few materials throughout the training program. You can find most of what you need on this page and can print from anywhere!  This page has been divided into three sections: training materials, program documents, and links to online forms/resources.  New items will be added as we progress through the program so check back often!

Training Materials

9th Class Recruit Syllabus – Your one stop shop for contact information, training dates, and more!

Training Routine – This is the basic routine to use with your group with instructions on how to cue and important regressions/progressions you can use with each exercise.

Kinesiology Routine Packet – This is the basic routine with additional information related to muscles involved, muscle action, and the planes of motion related to each exercise.

9th Class Recruit Checklist – (Paper version)Each week you should use this to access your  Recruit Checklist. You can find the digital version  located under the Links to Online forms and resources below.

Routine Deep Dive – This is a video deep dive into the training routine. 45 minutes of the training routine from start to finish. It provides both safety and alignment cuing that are looked for during teachbacks.

Chair Fitness Section – This is a video of the chair fitness section of the training routine. It provides both safety and alignment cuing that are looked for during teachbacks.

Kids Routine – This is a video of the Kids routine from the training routine. It provides both safety and alignment cuing that are looked for during teachbacks.

Mat Science Section – This video of the Mat Science section of the training routine. It provides both safety and alignment cuing that are looked for during teachbacks.

Program Documents

Administrative Checklist – Can’t remember what document to use for what or when a certain document is due?  Check this out to get you back on track!

Class Design Worksheet – This document helps us ensure that each Recruit’s fitness routines are designed to ensure safety, serve a functional purpose, and meet the overall class objective.  You will need to submit this at one of your March BID sessions, as per your Captain.

Warrior Class Agreement – This outlines the roles and responsibilities of the Warriors program, the Instructor, and the Host Site.  This is available as a Word document so you can type in certain sections if you prefer.

PAR-Q – Each new participant will need to complete this form before taking your weekly class.  Collect these at each class and submit them, along with each new participant’s waiver, on a quarterly basis (due 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1).

Minor Par-Q–  Each new participant under the age of 18 will need to complete this form before taking your weekly class.  Collect these at each class and submit them, along with each new participant’s waiver, on a quarterly basis (due 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1).

Participant Waiver – Each new participant, or their parent/guardian for participants under the age of 18, will need to complete this waiver before taking your weekly class.  Collect these at each class and submit them, along with each new participant’s PAR-Q, on a quarterly basis (due 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1).

Participant Sign-in Sheet– Each participant should sign in to In-person classes prior to working out. This document is used so the instructor can capture contact information and emergency contact information on all participants.

Spanish PAR-Q – Spanish version of the PAR-Q for Spanish speaking participants.

Spanish Participant Waiver – Spanish version of the participant waiver for Spanish speaking participants.

Class Flyer – Use this editable PDF flyer to promote your weekly class!  Just add in your class info, print, and you are ready to go!

Incident Report – This is the form that will need to be completed if you ever have an incident/emergency during your class.  This is available as a Word document so you can type it if you prefer.

Participant Post Survey- Warriors are responsible for collecting surveys twice each year from their class participants. The purpose of these surveys are to track individual participants’ changes in health outcomes, and to get participants’ feedback.

Online Participant Post Survey– Online version of the Participant Post Survey.

Kid-Friendly Survey – Use this survey for any youth that attend your classes!

Registered Participant Data – In-Person Warriors can check to see who has registered for classes here. You can use cntrl- F to search for a participant by their name.

Host Site Application – If you already have a host site in mind, please send them this link so that we can include them in our database of host sites.

Program Logos – Need one of the program logos in your efforts to promote your class?  You can copy and paste the logos you are looking for right from this document!  As you are creating flyers with these logos, please be sure to get them approved by your Captain or someone from Command.  Looking for a JPEG or PNG version of these logos?  See below!
