Registration information:

  • During the registration process, participants will choose either the 102-mile, 59-mile or 29-mile course.
  • To ensure the smoothest and safest start possible, starting corrals will be organized based on the participant’s estimated mph pace. Please choose one of the following options during the registration process:
    • 20+ mph
    • 18-20 mph
    • 15-17 mph
    • Under 15 mph

Switching Distances:

There will be no refunds and no transfer of entries from person-to-person.  You may switch between the three distances (29-mile, 59-mile and 102-mile) for a $10 fee plus the difference in entry fee at the time of the switch. If you are already signed up for one distance and want to switch to the other, you may do so online until October 2 or in person at the Packet Pick-Up at the Richmond Raceway Complex on Friday, October 4 between 4pm-7pm, provided the distance you are switching to has not reached capacity. There will be NO RIDE DAY transfers.

The distance of the event you are switching to/from is a non-factor in determining what you will owe when you switch events.  The determining factors are what you have already paid and the current price of the distance you are switching to.  If you have already paid more than the current price of the distance you are switching to, you will only owe the $10 transfer fee.  If you have paid less than the current entry fee of the distance you are switching to, you will owe the difference in what you have paid and the current entry fee + the $10 transfer fee.  You will not receive a refund of any entry fees.

1. Switching to a distance that is less expensive than what you have already paid:

EXAMPLE: If you registered for the 102-mile ride for $95 and then want to switch to the 59-mile ride when its entry fee is $90, you would only pay the $10 transfer fee.

2. Switching to a distancet that is more expensive than what you have already paid:

EXAMPLE:  If you registered for the 59-mile ride for $85 and would like to switch to the 102-mile ride when its entry fee is $105, you will owe $30 ($20 difference in entry fee + $10 transfer fee).

To switch to a new distance click on the link below and follow the prompts:

Course Time Limit

  • All riders must finish before 6 p.m. Any riders still on the course after 6 p.m. will be asked to ride in the SAG vehicle to the finish line or may choose to finish the route, no longer receiving ANY course support.

29-mile and 59-mile transportation options:

  1. Have someone drop you off at the start location of your event and pick you up at Richmond Raceway Complex to help you celebrate as you cross the finish line.
  2. Drop your vehicle at Richmond Raceway Complex during packet pick-up hours (4 p.m. - 7p.m.) on Friday, October 4th.  When you finish the ride the next day your vehicle will be waiting for you at the finish line.  NOTE: You are leaving your vehicle at your own risk.  Richmond Raceway Complex and Sports Backers is not responsible for your vehicle.
  3. Have someone follow you to Richmond Raceway Complex, the finish location for all distances.  Leave your car at the raceway and have that person take you to your start location.  When you finish the ride your vehicle will be waiting for you.
  4. Take a FREE shuttle back to the start location where your vehicle is located.  Due to limited space, the shuttle will only be for participants, not bicycles.  Bikes are not allowed on the shuttles under any circumstances.  When you finish the ride at the Richmond Raceway Complex, check your bike in Bike Parking, leaving your seat post number on your bike.  The shuttle will take participants to the starting location of both the 29- and 59-mile courses.  Drive your car back to the raceway to retrieve your bike.  You will be able to retrieve your bike by showing the bike parking attendant your bib number corresponding with the seat post number on your bike.  Shuttle departure times coming soon!

Event Charity

Bike/Walk RVA - The Bike Walk RVA advocacy program is committed to making the Richmond area more bike and pedestrian friendly. We will be working to encourage the construction of more paved multi-use trails, sidewalks and bike lanes in the Richmond Region.  We will also be working to improve and expand the off-road trail systems in the region.

A $50 donation to the event charity will result in a $20 discount off the race entry fee.

    • 18-20 mph

Course Time Limit
