For the women of Richmond looking for a way to workout, have fun, and feel comfortable, Victory Lady Fitness is a great one-stop shop. Whether you want to take a run on a pink treadmill or get toned using free weights, this gym offers every option.

Victory Lady Fitness owner Wendy Messner describes the establishment as “a place where women feel comfortable to ask questions and never feel judged.”

Walking into Victory Lady Fitness you immediately feel the warm, comforting presence of women just like you who are staying fit and getting active. If your goal is to drop weight for the summer, consider entering VLF’s Biggest Loser competition. There’s a $600 cash prize for the winner so make sure you are up for the challenge.

For the woman just looking for fun ways to work out, Kemel’s ‘Live Love Dance’ class is the one to take. You join 50 other women in moving to the beats of today’s top hip hop mixes and any experience level is welcome. Don’t worry, there are women between the ages of 15 and 93 enjoying themselves, and having Kemel show you how to shake it is a great way to finish up after a long day at work.

If you are looking for something a little more hard core, the TRX class gives you a full body suspension workout. Women strengthen their core, legs, and upper body while burning loads of calories.

VLF also believes in building stronger communities, and Messner makes it a goal to give back to local programs. “We have donated fitness equipment to schools in Henrico and the City of Richmond,” she said. “We have also raised money for numerous fundraisers and charities including Breast Cancer Awareness and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.”

Victory Lady Fitness has locations in the West End and Southside to help reach every woman in the Richmond area. The members are setting an example for getting active, staying healthy, and having fun all at the same time.
