Mr. Jonathan Coleman
The New Y-Capp, Inc.
Jonathan co-founded The New Y-CAPP Inc. in 1999 to serve the needs of children and adolescents throughout the state of Virginia. He is also the Vice President of the Association of Community Based Service Providers (ACBSP): an organization that provides its members with access to the latest developments and proposed regulations in the field of Mental Health Service. Jonathan has been on the Sports Backers Board of Directors since 2012.
Raised in a rural community of South Boston, Virginia, Jonathan’s educational and athletic pursuits landed him in Richmond where he graduated from Virginia Union University. He is now a husband, father, deacon in his church and successful businessman. Jonathan is very much a “people-person” and children in particular are his passion. He is always encouraging youth and is dedicated to seeing them obtain the education and skills needed to allow them to stand on their own two feet and be successful contributing members of society.
