Sports Backers Release Statement in Support of Ahmaud Arbery and Safer Communities

Richmond, VA – One of our primary missions here at Sports Backers is to advocate for safe running, biking, and walking in all corners of our community. We do not want to be silent when anyone’s right to safety is jeopardized. In the case of Ahmaud Arbery we wrestled with this, and we wrestled with how to best use our voice. We should all be able to feel safe in our neighborhoods, in our parks, on our trails, and throughout our area. We are lucky to serve, and work with a diverse group of people – and we want to be allies who fight against injustice. We stand with Ahmaud Arbery and all of our active living community. We are stronger together!
