2018 Anthem Corporate Run Sets New Registration Record

RICHMOND, VA – The Anthem Corporate Run, which will celebrate its ninth running on Thursday, June 7, has surpassed its previous entry record of 5,669 individuals. Currently there are nearly 5,700 participants registered for the event, with registration still available until June 7 and a price increase set for June 1.

The 5k has grown to become one of the largest corporate run/walk events in the state and will be held at the Innsbrook Office Park, finishing on Dominion’s campus. This event is a perfect opportunity for employers to promote the message of employee health and wellness in a fun environment great for team building, employee engagement, business-to-business networking, and friendly competition with industry rivals. Awards will be presented to the fastest male and female CEO and fastest overall male and female winners. The fastest companies in each division will be announced later in the week.

The official event charity is Greater Richmond Fit4Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving children’s health and reducing the prevalence of childhood obesity in the Richmond region. Fit4Kids offers innovative programs that promote physical activity and healthy eating in schools, community organizations, and beyond. Event-week registration for the Anthem Corporate Run will take place from June 1-June 7, with registration available for $50 per team member.
