Combine the natural rolling terrain on the grounds of Maymont with the wildlife along the course and you’ve got yourself the perfect 5k cross-country course.

Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred to another year.

DETAILS:
- Please arrive at the start line at least 10 minutes before the start of your race.
- B-chips (or chips already attached to the number bib) will be assigned to every runner for timing purposes.
- Maymont does not allow pets on the property, so please leave your four-legged friends at home!
PACKET PICK-UP:
T-shirt and packet pick-up will be available at Maymont near the Hampton Street entrance on Friday, September 28 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
A photo ID is required to pick up your race packet. You may pick up a race packet for another pre-registered runner, provided you have a copy of their photo ID.
RESULTS:
Results will be posted at www.sportsbackers.org after the conclusion of the day’s events.
AWARDS:
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers, male and female, and to the top three in all age groups, male and female. Age groups are: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The 5k course starts near Maymont House and doubles back on itself several times allowing spectators easy visibility to multiple points along the course. In Byrd Park runners will pass a lake and scenic sculptures before returning to Maymont. The course then passes by the Children's Farm at Maymont before heading back to Maymont House and the finish line.
Print out an entry form and mail it in with payment by September 26
Walk up registration Friday, September 28 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Maymont. There is no walk up registration on Saturday, September 29.
