Take in the sights and sounds of RVA by bike... under a full moon... with 3,500 other riders decked out in crazy lights and costumes. Then top it off with pizza, ice cream, a live concert and a Blue Moon beer (for you 21-and-uppers!). We even have plenty of exhibitors and interactive activities for the fam, so you’re guaranteed to have a fabulous night on the town!
With a Full Moon (17-mile) course and a Half Moon (8-mile) option, there’s something for everyone. And if you’re not in it for the yellow jersey, take advantage of our well-stocked rest stops on Monument Avenue and in Bryan Park.
*If you are under 18, your parent/guardian must accompany you at walk-up registration.

* Riders as young as 8 years old are permitted with parent or guardian supervision. Children under the age of 8 may NOT ride their own bike. Tri-cycles and training wheels are NOT permitted. Approved bike trailers are allowed.

- Blinking light to attach to back of your bike during ride (can be used as your rear light to help fulfill the safety requirements)

Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred to another year.

Details
We will utilize wave starts to alleviate course congestion. During registration, please choose a wave corresponding to the course you plan to ride and line up with that wave prior to the start. Each wave is limited to 450 participants.
**Please note there is a 3-hour course limit.
Full Moon
- Wave A - Hard core (Long Course)
- Wave B - Weekend Warrior (Long Course)
- Wave C - Casual Rider (Long Course)
- Wave D - Family Wave (Long Course)
Half Moon
- Wave E - Hard core (Short Course)
- Wave F - Weekend Warrior (Short Course)

Tailgating in the parking areas is prohibited. This will be monitored and strictly enforced.
Event Charity
Bike Walk RVA -
The Bike Walk RVA advocacy program is committed to making the Richmond area more bike and pedestrian friendly. We will be working to encourage the construction of more paved multi-use trails, sidewalks and bike lanes in the Richmond Region. We will also be working to improve and expand the off-road trail systems in the region.
A $25 donation to the event charity will result in a $10 discount off the race entry fee.
