Brown's Island

XTERRA, the off-road multi-sport event that combines swimming with mountain biking and trail running, is back! For the ninth consecutive year, Brown's Island in the heart of downtown is headquarters for all the action. While the XTERRA race course begins and ends on the Island, the race itself spans the James River Park.

In addition to the championship race, the weekend offers races for trail runners, mountain bikers, canoeists/kayakers, youth and the half-distance XTERRA Sport race. Pick up tips from the pros at one of the XTERRA Univeristy clinics or enjoy the XTERRA Expo with food, climbing walls and products displays.
