The Fit For Life Kids Challenge is a free incentive-based fitness program for elementary school-aged children throughout the metro Richmond area. The program will encourage youth to run 26 miles over the course of a 10-week period. Details.

CAA Youth Basketball Tournament

Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k

National Duathlon Festival

Cougar 7 v 7 Outdoor Field Hockey Tournament

Games will consist of a 7-v-7 competition format, six on the field and one goalie. Each game will last 25 minutes and will be on a central, running clock. Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships

USA Track & Field has awarded its 2008 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships to Pole Green Park in Hanover County. The event attracts more than 3,000 athletes aged 8 to 18 from all 57 USATF Associations who will compete for boys' and girls' titles in five age divisions. The event is expected to result in an estimated economic impact of $500,000 for the region. Details.
